For The Ultimate NASCAR Fan

 by The NoRegifting Team

If you're dating or are married to an absolute NASCAR fanatic, like I am, you already know how much fun it is looking for, and giving, cool NASCAR items as gifts!

That's why, when I discovered FatHead.com, I had some very mixed emotions. On the one hand, I had stumbled across the biggest (literally!), most unique, incredible NASCAR gift I could possibly imagine giving! But on the other hand, it's only April :( True, that tax refund will help fund a couple of those FatHeads, but Christmas is SO far away!

My favorite fan (my husband), who I lovingly refer to as 'Zucker' (that's 'sugar' in German . . and another long story) never misses a race, has an ongoing weekly bet with his best friend, and won $150 betting Tony to win in Vegas. . . Yep, he's a Tony fan. But poor Zucker, being born on December 27th -- even further away than Christmas.

Being the impatient type, I needed to find an excuse to give my Zucker a fathead sometime soon. I glanced over at the very large calendar on my office wall. There appeared to be some small type on several days in April which I couldn't quite make out (Mrs. Zucker needs glasses). "I'll bet those are holidays!", I thought, as I rolled my desk chair closer to the wall, grasping for a special day to give a Nascar-Tony Stewart Fathead to my Zucker.

My high hopes were quickly squelched once I reached the precise distance required to clear my blurred vision:

Easter - April 16th - too late to order now and receive my FatHead by Sunday
Eastern Orthodox Easter - April 23rd - nope, that won't work
Holocaust Remembrance Day - April 25th - nope
Administrative Professional Day - April 26th - well, Zucker is an avid typist, but that's not his true profession, so no, that won't work either

Refusing to let their spring special (2 FatHeads for $74.95 (plus S&H) each - a savings of $149.90) pass me by, I've taken the obvious lack of April holidays into my own hands. I declare, the day of the month that my FatHeads arrive, will be 'Zucker Day'!

Anxious to find out just when that might be, I found this at FatHead.com:

"How long will it take to receive my Fathead?
Okay, we know you're fired up get your Fathead home. If in stock, your Fathead should arrive in 7-10 business days. If out of stock, it may take up to 30 days. When you place a Fathead in your shopping cart, it will prompt you on the approximate ship date. Fathead are selling fast so the sooner you order, the sooner you will receive it."

7 - 10 business days - not bad! Now I had just one more hurdle to leap: my two FatHead picks, the Tony Stewart life-size figure for Zucker, and Carl Edwards doing his backflip, intended for Zucker's best friend John, are both indicated as 'Coming Soon'.

I called FatHead and unfortunately learned that they don't have an exact date for Tony and Carl's arrival :(More waiting alas. On the bright side, FatHead has dozens of available NBA and NFL (current and legends) figures, and numerous NASCAR cars. Check them out. It's an awesome gift for your favorite fan. The moment Tony and Carl arrive, I'll be posting a review of the entire experience: from ordering my FatHeads to wrapping them up (may need a lot of paper ;) to what should be an incredible reaction from both Zucker and John!
